Help team PAC hit its target!
On Sunday 26 April 2009, two determined and
experienced runners, Bridgit Napleton and James Wilson,
will be taking their places at the starting line of the
Flora London Marathon to help PAC raise £4,000 in
sponsorship.
Bridgit and James hope to raise £2,000 each
for PAC funds.
You can sponsor them and leave
messages of support here: www.justgiving.com/teampac2009
Alternatively, you can send a cheque made payable to
Post-Adoption Centre to our office address, 5 Torriano
Mews, Kentish Town, London NW5 2RZ.
Bridgit and James are both North Londoners, appropriately
reflecting PAC’s home base, and have a wide range of
running experience between them.

Bridgit is a qualified Personal Trainer with a passion
for exercising outdoors. For the last three years she
has been passing on this passion to others via her
fitness business, Green Fit (www.green-fit.co.uk ).
Bridgit says she has "always been a runner". As well as
a number of 10ks, she ran the London Marathon in 1994,
before the arrival of her three sons.
"I was thrilled to be asked to run the London Marathon
by PAC" says Bridgit. "My main focus is to enjoy the
training, meet the sponsorship target and enjoy the
experience on the day!"
"I am so pleased to be able to raise money for such a
useful local charity. As I have been talking about it
to my family and friends, they all seem to know someone
involved in the adoption process and can all see the
importance of PAC's work. As I get nearer and nearer
the target, my focus and motivation grows
stronger!"
Bridgit hopes to complete the race in under four hours.
We'll be rooting for you!

James was hooked after his first 10k run as a
sixth-former and has been building up for the big one
since then. For two years in a row he competed in the
Regent’s Park Winter 10k, which involves
running one 10k race per month over a six-month
period -so by our reckoning that makes thirteen 10ks
and he’s only 19!
James, who also recently ran a half marathon,
says: “I love to run as it gives you time to
think and challenge yourself to a new level, which is
mainly why I'm doing the London
Marathon.” His personal target for
completing the route is just over four hours. Go for
it, James!
PAC staff will be turning out in force to
support our runners on the day. If you would like to
team up with us, please contact the office on 020
7284 0555 and we’ll let you know you when and
where we’ll be meeting. We’d be delighted
to share the day with you!
