Statement about my practice: What I do and how I work

I undertake short term work (7 weeks, 12 weeks, one year) once a week with individuals and couples who are affected in any way by adoption and fertility issues.

I see individuals and couples who are goint through assessment for suitability to adopt and may want to explore their feelings in a safe place. I also see those who have been turned down by the assessing agency, or have been advised to look more closely at their relationships. I work with couples and individuals who are coming to terms with infertility and deciding what they want to do in the future.

I also see adults who were adopted and those who relinquished children or had them removed from their care and want to explore their feelins of loss.
In general I see people in these circumstances for longer term work
I work long term either in a time-limited or an open ended way for up to three times a week.

I am happy to meet individuals and coupoels for an initial assessment to discuss their needs.
