PAC's Training Programme 2012/13
PAC's training programme covers a wide range of topics including attachment issues in children and adults, the effects of early separation and traumas, talking to children about adoption, therapeutic life story work, therapeutic parenting, therapeutic play, and contact with birth parents/relatives.
As a professional, PAC’s cutting edge training seminars and workshops allow you to stay at the forefront of adoption and permanent placement practice and to engage with others who are managing similar challenges in their work.
As an adoptive parent, special guardian, foster or kinship carer, PAC’s training provides down to earth support and useful strategies to help you parent your child. It also aims to help you understand your child’s behaviour more fully. In addition, the trainings provide a space to meet other adoptive parents and carers who are facing similar parenting issues to the ones you are encountering.
PAC has Service Level Agreements with 30+ local authorities in and around Greater London. Residents of these subscribing local authorities, and adoption/permanent care professionals who work within them, are entitled to concessions on our training events.
